The highly anticipated Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake has just received a major update, and it's bound to get players excited. According to a recent tweet, the game is set to release on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch. While we don't have a confirmed release date yet, the teaser text "The legend of Erdrick draws near" suggests that more details will be revealed soon.

There is a project with a codename that is a reference to DQ9 and Toriyama-san that I think is DQ12 and there was a Nova project at BU2D3.
Announced back in 2021, this remake of the 1988 RPG classic is being developed by Team Asano, known for their work on titles like Bravely Default. With the game engine being the same as Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy, players can expect a visually stunning and immersive experience.
Despite some concerns following the departure of the franchise's lead producer and delays in Dragon Quest 12, the development of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is reportedly progressing steadily. Fans can look forward to a potential reveal at the upcoming Summer Game Fest showcase on June 7th, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates!
