Epic Games has once again captivated Fortnite fans with the launch of the Cowabunga event, a thrilling crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) universe. This event, running from February 9th through the 27th, introduces a host of new content, including the much-anticipated Shredder skin, Krang back bling, and a variety of other TMNT-themed rewards.
The Cowabunga event allows players to dive into the sewers of Fortnite, completing unique quests to earn "ooze" currency. This currency can then be used to unlock various reward tiers on a special Battle Pass. For those willing to invest a bit more, a premium rewards track is available for 1,000 V-Bucks, offering exclusive items like the Shredder skin.
Fortnite's collaboration with TMNT doesn't stop at skins and back blings. The event also features a Turtle Blimp glider, Kuro Kabuto Bass, OOZE Wrap, and TMNT Pizza Back Bling, all of which can be unlocked by participating in the event's activities. These additions not only enrich the game's aesthetic but also allow players to immerse themselves further into the TMNT universe.
Epic Games' partnership with Disney hints at even more exciting crossovers in the future, with rumors of a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers collaboration already circulating. As Fortnite continues to blend various franchises into its world, the possibilities seem endless.
