It Takes Two on Steam No Longer Requires EA App

Nathan Lees

It Takes Two, developed by Hazelight Studios, has just received a fantastic update on PC for Steam users. Say goodbye to logging in through the EA App launcher because the game is now natively available on Steam.

While you'll still need an EA account for online play, the good news is that you can now seamlessly enjoy the game with your Steam friends. The Friend's Pass feature, which allows you to invite a friend who hasn't purchased the game to join you, is also available on Steam. Additionally, Steam Family Sharing is now supported, making it easier to enjoy the game with your loved ones.

But that's not all! Hazelight Studios has confirmed that It Takes Two is now Steam Deck Verified, ensuring optimal performance on Valve's portable gaming device. So whether you're playing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC, you can dive into this cooperative adventure with ease.

Excitingly, Hazelight Studios has hinted at a new game announcement later this year, so stay tuned for more gaming adventures from this talented studio.
