Until Dawn PC and PlayStation 5's new version has been officially rated by the ESRB. It retains the same rating of M with an intensity in Violence and Gore, just like before.
The ESRB rating indicates that the new release of Until Dawn is still on track and may even come out sooner than that. In other words, there might well be a launch in the very near future.
PlayStation gave fans a tease of the rebuilt version of Until Dawn from Ballistic Moon during a May 2024 State of Play. According to the leaks, the game will hit the shelves in Fall 2024.
The original Until Dawn was developed by Supermassive Games back in 2015, starring Hollywood actors like Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek to really flesh out its cinematic feel for the narrative-driven horror title.
The rebuilt version of Until Dawn coming to PC includes Unreal Engine visuals, new content, additional collectibles, new environments to explore, re-cut narrative sequences, a third-person camera perspective, and several quality-of-life improvements to really boost gameplay.
