If you're a fan of Dead Island 2, you're in for a treat! The highly anticipated Sola Festival DLC is set to release on April 17th, as announced by the official Dead Island 2 Twitter account.

Dead Island 2 made its debut in April 2023 and is currently available on Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation. The news of the Sola Festival DLC coincides with the recent announcement that the game will also be launching on Steam on April 22nd.

Speculations among fans hinted that the Sola Festival DLC would be released in Q2 2024, making the official release date an exciting surprise. This DLC launch also commemorates the first anniversary of the game.

Although a trailer for the DLC has not been released yet, fans can catch a glimpse of what's to come on Dead Island's official site. The promo art shared on Twitter sets the stage for what promises to be an epic addition to the game.

For those who may have missed it, Dead Island 2 recently became available on Xbox Game Pass, drawing in more players to explore its zombie-infested open world.

The Sola Festival DLC is expected to bring new weapons, perks, and surprises to the game. Players can look forward to wielding the Sawblade Launcher and Ripper, as well as encountering a brand new zombie archetype - the whipper. This unique zombie uses its own body as a weapon in a deadly whip attack.
