Exciting news for Dead by Daylight fans as the March developer update has arrived, bringing with it the much-anticipated Twins rework and some significant changes to popular perks like Adrenaline and Decisive Strike.
The Twins, who recently made a comeback after being kill switched, are receiving a variety of changes and new abilities in this update. Players can now switch between the two characters more quickly, with improved switch times and quicker actions for Victor. Additionally, Victor can no longer be kicked after successful pounces, making the gameplay more dynamic and engaging.
One of the most noteworthy improvements is the ability to recall Victor at any point when he's unbound, providing players with greater flexibility and control over their gameplay strategy.
Other changes include:
- Updates to 7 Add-Ons
- Victor’s Pounce no longer latches onto healthy Survivors
- Victor’s Pounce now latches onto Survivors when they are put into the dying state. Other Survivors can crush Victor during this to help the dying Survivor. Victor will automatically return to Charlotte after 20 seconds.
- While Victor is attached to a Survivor or holding a Survivor in a locker, Charlotte gains a 10% Haste effect. This effect will be lost prematurely if Charlotte hits a Survivor.
- Survivors near Victor while he is latched onto another Survivor are no longer revealed by Killer Instinct.
Furthermore, the update introduces a rework to the Haddonfield map, ensuring a fairer experience for all players. In addition, perks like Adrenaline and Decisive Strike have also seen adjustments, with Adrenaline no longer activating when a survivor is hooked during the end game collapse.
