Unranked Play Now Available in Tarkov Arena

Nathan Lees

Battlestate Games recently revealed a new update for Escape from Tarkov Arena, much to the excitement of the player base. This update brought with it a highly requested 'unranked' mode, providing players with a more relaxed gaming experience within the intense world of Tarkov.

Since its launch in December 2023, Tarkov Arena has only offered a challenging ranked rotation, leaving many players yearning for a less high-stakes alternative. With the addition of the unranked mode, Battlestate has listened to the community feedback and delivered a new way to enjoy the game.

According to Tarkov Arena's official website, several tweaks have been implemented to make the unranked mode feel more casual while still maintaining the core essence of the game. While the gameplay may offer more freedom, it remains a tough shooter that demands quick reflexes and sharp situational awareness.

In the unranked mode, players can engage in TeamFight and ShootOut matches without worrying about earning ARP. Instead, they will receive boosted cash rewards. The absence of team restrictions allows for greater experimentation with presets, and separate stats tracking ensures that progress in ranked mode is unaffected.

Additionally, Battlestate Games has addressed various issues including improvements to audio, VoIP, and adjustments to team-kill penalties. The update also includes a reduction in the number of team kills required to trigger warnings and kicks, aiming to create a more enjoyable gameplay experience for all participants.
