The latest public beta version of Proton 9 has just been released, and it comes with some fantastic updates that will enhance your gaming experience.
The Proton 9 update addresses several issues that were preventing certain games from running smoothly and causing video errors. Games like Alan Wake, Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition, and Total War: Warhammer 3 are now playable again thanks to this update. Additionally, placeholder videos in games like Resident Evil 0 and Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 are now working properly.
Proton 9 Beta 15:
Fixed a few Proton 9.0 regressions:
- Alan Wake, Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition, Total War: WARHAMMER III (#23474) are playable again.
- Placeholder videos now play correctly in Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 and Resident Evil 0.
- Fixed mouse clicks registering twice in Warframe and TrackMania Nations Forever.
- Epic Game Store no longer fails to launch.
