Xbox Game Pass, the popular subscription service by Microsoft, just got more exciting with the addition of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. It marks the first game to grace Xbox Game Pass in March 2024.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, developed by the British studio Auroch Digital, is just under a year old and was originally launched on PC and consoles back in May 2023. The game received primarily positive reviews, and it now counts over 10,000 "Very Positive" reviews on Steam.
Interestingly, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is not the first Warhammer game on Xbox Game Pass. The service has been averaging one Warhammer game per year since 2020, with examples such as Games Workshop's mainline fantasy franchise and its sci-fi spin-off series, Warhammer 40k.
Microsoft has confirmed four additional titles that are slated to hit Xbox Game Pass this month, namely, Lightyear Frontier, MLB The Show 24, Diablo 4, and Open Roads. Particularly significant is Diablo 4, marking the first Activision Blizzard game to arrive on the platform since being acquired by Microsoft in a landmark $68.7 billion deal.
