As we step into the new year, Microsoft's Game Pass is set to deliver an exciting array of games for console, PC, and cloud gamers. Leading the charge in January 2023 are blockbuster titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2 remake.
The January Lineup:
- Close to the Sun (Cloud, Console, PC) – Launching January 3
- Hell Let Loose (Cloud, Xbox Series, PC) – Available from January 4
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) – Starting January 9
- Super Mega Baseball 4 (Cloud, Console, PC) EA Play – Coming January 11
- We Happy Few (Cloud, Console, PC) – January 11
- Resident Evil 2 (Cloud, Console, PC) – Releasing January 16

These titles join the already extensive library of games available on Game Pass, which was enhanced with the introduction of Xbox Game Pass Core in September. This service, priced at $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year, not only offers access to Xbox multiplayer gaming but also a curated library of over 35 games, along with exclusive member deals.
Games Leaving Game Pass:
It's also important to note the games that will be leaving Game Pass soon:
- Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud and Console) – January 5
- Garden Story, MotoGP 22, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable (Cloud, Console, PC) – January 15
The departure of "Persona 3 Portable" is particularly notable, especially with the upcoming release of its remake, "Persona 3 Reload," scheduled for February 2.
